Hey guys, today we are going to look how to launch website with free of cost. We will see how to get free domain, then how to get free hosting , how to point free domain with free hosing server and finally how to launch website on free hosting with free domain.
So lets go through steps one by one.
Get Free Domain
There is online place where we can get free domain that is www.freenom.com . Freenom offers some specific domains for free like .cf, .tk, .ga, .ml etc.
So visit to freenom.com and search your desired domain. Select available domain for checkout. While checkout you need to signup or login if already signed up. Don’t forget to select time to 12 month free period because by default its 3 month selected. In my case I have created play4cash.cf domain.
Get Free Hosing
www.000webhost.com offers free hosting server for websites. 000webhost offers all necessary things to launch complete website for free like, hosting space, mysql database server, email, FTP connection, web based file manager etc.
So go with 000webhost create account or login if already created account. Go to my sites section and you will see ‘Create New Site’ button. It will ask you site name and password. This sitename and password will work as cpanel username & password. Now your site is ready with default subdomain like https://[sitename].000webhostapp.com/.
So if you choose sitename ‘play4cash’ then your site’s default url will be : https://play4cashonline.000webhostapp.com/
Now its turn to link domain and hosting.
Link Free Domain with Free Hosting
In 000webhost.com dashboard go through ‘my sites’. Here you will see sites list you created. Click on ‘Manage Site’ option. In next page, you will several options in left side. Go through ‘Tools’ option and then click on ‘Set Web Address’. This will show domains list if available. Also you will ‘Add Domain’ button, click on it. This will ask you choose ‘park domain’ or ‘point domain’. Just choose ‘park domain’. Next screen it will ask to enter domain name. In my case I put play4cash.cf. Also here you can see name servers info for this server.
So just copy this name servers and go to freenom.com dashboard domain list. And go through ‘manage domain’ and then ‘management tool > name servers’. Now select ‘Use custom nameservers (enter below)’ and paste name servers here and save it.
In 000webhost domain adding page after putting domain name click on ‘park domain’ button. Now wait for name server propagation. It may take about 10-20 min.
Now lets see final thing deploy website on free hosting server.
Launch Website on Free Hosting with Free Domain
Now final thing to do is to upload site on free hosting server. So in 000webhost dashboard your can see ‘File Manager’ option. This option can be used to open web based file manager and here you can upload files, create files, create folders etc.
If you want to use FTP to upload website then go through ‘Website Settings’ in 000webhost dashboard. Here you can see ftp hot, username and password will be same as you set while creating website. So you can connect with ftp and upload website
if you want to use database, you can go ‘tools > database manager’ option to create and manage databases.
